Welcome to Pickford Presbyterian!

Welcome to our church, which is located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, but ready to serve you wherever you may be located. We are thankful for your interest in this church and this web site.   If you wish to worship with us on any Sunday morning our service is at 10:00am, Children's Sunday School takes place during the morning worship right after the Children's Sermon and Adult Sunday school is at 11:00. Also note that no matter where you are in the world, you can listen to the latest broadcast of our Sunday morning anthem and message in the listening room.

Our purpose is connecting people with Jesus Christ, and nurturing relationships with Him.
We want you to be able to:
--Experience the love, warmth and strength of Jesus
--Be inspired to commit your life to Him and repent of your sins, giving you forgiveness on earth and eternal life in Heaven
--Find help and hope for the specific needs and struggles of your daily life
--Give thanks to Jesus through worship, prayer, love and service

What We Strive to Be

What We Strive Not to Be

Humble, serving (Mark 10:42-45)

Inclusive, tolerant (Luke 6:41-42)

Welcoming, friendly (Hebrews 13:1-2)

Jesus-centered, Bible-based (Romans 1:16-17)

Respectful, supportive (Proverbs 20:19)

For all ages, with special focus on
 children/youth (Matthew 18:1-6)

Traditional, with openness to the new
 (II Timothy 1:5-7)

Orderly, democratic government (Titus 1:5-9)

Holier-than-thou

Fanatical, extremist

Ingrown, closed

Doctrinally "anything goes"

Gossips

Only geared for a "target" audience

Rigid

Ruled by select "insiders"

We say:" I can’t go on”

God says: my grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9 and psalm 91:15)

We say:" I can’t figure things out”

God says: I will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6)

We say:" I can’t do it”

God says: you can do all things (Philippians 4:13)

We say:" I'm not able”

God says: I am able (2 Corinthians 9:8)

We say:" it's not worth it”
